I have to say I really enjoy the story. It had stead pace and well developed. It was fill with drama and suspense. Which is always a good combination in my eyesight? The plot was full of surprise which make this book a page turner. I read the book in couple hours it was just that interesting. I'm looking forward to part 2 of this book. I can wait to see what happen next with Carter and Ayanna.
Dang I hope Ayanna's mom wasn't hit. Carter and Ayanna are like the modern day Romeo and Juliet. Sayvon is too messy he can't in the middle of his daughters love lives. I think Ayanna's mom was creeping with Ced back in the day. Seems like that's where the beef between Sayvon and Ced began. I can't wait for pt. 2 I think its a lot of secrets that's going to be revealed.

I thought this was a good read though I didn't care for the ending, but I know there has to be room for a part 2 and I can't wait.
This book just didn't have no real direction. Maybe part 2 the author will give her plot more.
I really enjoyed this story but would like 2 no what will happen in part 2, did the father get killed.
I loved this book. This is a great first book and Carter blew me away. He was not the one to sleep on. Ayanna played hard but I knew she would fall for him. I'm curious to see how their love story plays out. Ready for part 2 ASAP!!! <3
